LaSalle police offer new auction

Are you looking for a good deal? The LaSalle Police Service is teaming up with the GovDeals.com auction website.

The auction will go live Sunday, November 3, at 8 a.m.

Over 10 days, the public can browse unclaimed and confiscated items online and make a bid.

It will wrap up Tuesday, November 12, at 4 p.m.

Once the auction has closed, successful bidders will have five days to complete the online payment, and 10 days to pick their items up.

Police do not deliver. A release from the service said items must be picked up between Wednesday, November 13 and Friday, November 22, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The LaSalle Police Service is located at 1880 Normandy St.

Before picking up items, buyers will need to set up an appointment 24 hours ahead of time by calling 519-969-5210.

Buyers will also have to provide personal information, including name, address, telephone number, and a certificate printed off from the GovDeals website.
