Police looking for suspect in bank fraud

Windsor police are looking to the public to help them identify a suspect in a fraud investigation.

Police say a Windsor woman went to her bank after her debit card was declined and she was locked out of her online banking. She learned that a large amount of money was taken from her account the day before.

Through an investigation, police discovered another woman entered a bank and presented fraudulent identification in the victim's name. She was also able to answer security questions in order to get a debit card associated with the victim's account.

The woman then went to several different locations throughout the city making withdrawals.

The suspect is described as a white female in her early 20s. She's around 5'7" tall, with a slim build and short black hair. She was wearing a black North Face coat and a red Jansport backpack.
