Van crashes into East Windsor home 

A driver lost control, crashing a van into an East Windsor home on Saturday.

The driver suffered minor injuries after plowing into a home on the 2500 block of Pillette Road.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. Windsor police say the driver lost control of the vehicle, crashing into the home and causing significant damage to the house.

Police closed Pillette Road from Grand Marais Road to Somme Avenue at 4:07 p.m., but have since re-opened the street.

Charges are pending as police investigate.

No other injuries were reported.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
