Armed robbery at Tecumseh restaurant

The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Tecumseh restaurant.

Police were called to the restaurant on Tecumseh Road near Green Valley Drive around 6:30 p.m. Sunday night. When they arrived, they learned the suspect entered the restaurant with his face covered, brandished a weapon, and demanded money from the employees.

The robber took off through the back of the building with a small amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 5'9" tall with a medium build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing gloves, blue jeans and a blue/grey sweatshirt with the hood up and tightened around his face.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
