Fire on Wellington Avenue

Damage is estimated at around $175,000 after an early morning fire on Wellington Avenue.

The fire broke out Saturday morning at a house on Wellington Avenue near Grove Avenue.

According to Windsor Fire, the blaze started in the basement bedroom. However, the cause is still undetermined.

No one was injured.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
