UPDATE: Man dies after being struck by vehicle in Windsor

A man who had been hit by a vehicle on Sunday night has died of his injuries.

Windsor police said the man was struck on Howard Avenue at Logan Avenue around 7 p.m.

The investigation shut down Howard Avenue until about 2 a.m. on Monday morning.

Investigators have spoken to the driver of the vehicle.

Police are reminding pedestrians and drivers to see and be seen. Drivers are asked to watch carefully for pedestrians at all times, and pedestrians are asked to be aware of oncoming traffic.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
