UPDATE: No foul play suspected in unattended death

Windsor police say the death of a man on McKay Avenue over the weekend is not suspicious.

Officers were called around 8 a.m. Sunday to the address on McKay Avenue near College Avenue on a report of a deceased person. A Windsor police forensic team spent several hours in the home along with investigators from the Major Crimes Division.

The forensic team was summoned at the request of the coroner, who has requested an autopsy.

Police have determined that there was no foul play associated with the death. The man has not been identified.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
