UPDATE: Suspect in Tecumseh robberies identified, still at large

Tecumseh Ontario Provincial Police officers say they have identified a suspect involved in multiple break and enters early Monday morning.

Around 5 a.m. the suspect forcibly entered three businesses, two on Tecumseh Road East and the other on Manning Road. He removed merchandise from each of the stores and fled the area. The suspect also stole toys that were being collected for families in need by one of the businesses.

Police believe the suspect may have been driving a white 2015 Chevrolet Equinox or something similar.

The suspect has been identified, but police say he is still at large.

The OPP Essex County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) is asking that anyone who knows where this individual is, to call the OPP at 519-723-2491.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
