Vehicle fire in Leamington causes $105,000 in damages

Two vehicles had extensive damage following a vehicle fire early Saturday morning.

Leamington Fire crews responded to the fire in the 300 block of Erie Street North around 2:50 a.m.

A 2019 Yukon Denali was fully engulfed by the flames and a 2019 Toyota sustained heat damage.

The damage between the two vehicles is estimated at $105,000.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is unknown.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
