Bounty offered to catch porch pirates

The Windsor and Essex County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information on porch pirates.

For the rest of December, the program will offer $250 for any information that leads to the identity of any individuals responsible for holiday package thefts.

If you see any suspicious activity in your neighbourhood or if you've been a victim of a porch pirate the program is encouraging you to contact your local police service.

Tips can be submitted by calling 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.catchcrooks.com.

To avoid being the victim of a theft you are encouraged to have your packages delivered to your work or request that your package has a signature confirmation upon delivery.
