High winds close light festival

Bright Lights Windsor is shut down Monday night due to high winds.

Officials with the City of Windsor said many displays at Jackson Park have been blown over.

In addition, park officials have noticed many snapped branches and have decided to close the park for safety reasons.

Bright Lights is scheduled to run until January 7, 2020. Once the winds subside and clean-up is completed, the festival will re-open.
