Police seek witnesses to serious crash

Police are looking for witnesses to a serious crash in Windsor's east end Tuesday.

Around 5:15 p.m. police were called to the collision on South Service Road near Lauzon Parkway. The crash involved a black Ford pickup truck travelling eastbound and a black Hyundai travelling westbound.

The male driver of the Hyundai was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two other passengers of the Hyundai were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The scene was processed by the accident reconstruction unit and the forensic identification branch.

The matter remains under active investigation. Anyone who witnessed the collision or may have witnessed these vehicles driving in the area prior to the collision is encouraged to contact the police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4000 with any information.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
