Signs replaced on the E.C. Row Exwy. early Monday

The City of Windsor is warning drivers about alternating lane closures and delays in both directions on the E.C. Row Expressway early Monday morning.

The disruptions will be between Huron Church Road and Dougall Avenue between midnight and 6 a.m. Monday.

Crews will replace overhead exit ramp signage.

At 12:30 a.m., work will start to replace the sign on the pedestrian overpass east of Dominion. There will be lane restrictions and limited access to the Dominion off-ramp.

Between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., crews will move on to the pedestrian overpass west of Dominion to replace the sign there. Expect lane restrictions in the eastbound lanes.

By 4:30 a.m., the work will move back to the pedestrian overpass east of Dominion, where the sign for eastbound traffic will be changed.

During the third sign change, the E.C. Row will be closed, and traffic will be rerouted off the expressway at Dominion.

The project should wrap up by 6 a.m., and traffic during the morning rush hour should not be impacted.
