LaSalle woman dealt winning hand, wins $100K

A LaSalle woman plans to repair her home after winning $100,000 in the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation's POKER LOTTO draw.

Judith Williamson also plans to beef up her savings after winning the December 20 draw.

She discovered her win at home after buying the ticket at LaSalle Discount and Variety on Front Road.

"I checked it over again because I didn't believe it was real," she said. "My daughter had to come over and verify that I wasn't dreaming."

The POKER LOTTO offers instant in-store wins of up to $5,000, and nightly prize draws worth up to $100,000.

Williamson, a dietary assistant, matched five out of five cards.
