Weather delays sign replacement on E.C. Row Exwy.

Crews will try again overnight to replace overhead exit signs on the pedestrian overpass after the weather forced them to delay the work.

Instead, the City of Windsor is warning drivers the work will take place starting at midnight until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

There will be lane restrictions on the E.C. Row in both directions between Huron Church Road and Dougall Avenue. At the same time, crews work on the signs hanging from the pedestrian overpass east of Dominion Boulevard.

From 12:30 a.m. until 2 a.m., there will be restrictions in the westbound lanes. Access to the off-ramp at Dominion Boulevard will be limited.

The work will then switch to the eastbound lanes west of the pedestrian overpass for about two hours. Again, drivers should expect lane restrictions.

For the final two hours of work, the eastbound lanes will close, and traffic diverted off the E.C. Row at Dominion.

Windsor police will be directing traffic.
