Doug Ford at Ford Engine in Windsor

The premier's press secretary has confirmed Premier Doug Ford is in Windsor.

Ivana Yelich confirmed in an email to BlackburnNews.com that Ford will make several stops in the city Tuesday.

"The premier is making a number of stops in the area today, including a tour of the Ford Engine Plant and a roundtable with the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce," read the email.

Norma Coleman, chief of staff for Mayor Drew Dilkens, also confirmed the mayor will attend the roundtable this afternoon.

So far, there are no media events planned.

Meanwhile, the Ontario Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Vic Fedeli, is also in the city. Fedeli is making an announcement at Precision Stamping Group's Plant 3 on Patillo Road.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
