Cyclist hit by hit and run driver in Lakeshore

The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the driver of a grey Jeep Grand Cherokee after a cyclist was hit by a vehicle in Lakeshore.

Officers were called to Lakeshore Road 111 between Walls Road and County Road 42 around 2 p.m. Thursday.

The teenaged boy told police the driver stopped briefly to speak with him, but then speed off.

He described the man as white, between 60 and 65-years-old, and medium in build. He was about six feet tall, bald, and had a mustache. The suspect was wearing a long, dark-coloured coat, and dark-coloured pants.

The vehicle may have some damage to the front driver's side corner.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
