Express fall to Five 111-104

The Windsor Express were defeated by the Sudbury Five 111-104 on Sunday.

The Express took an 11 point lead in the first quarter with a score of 34-23. The Express kept their lead going into halftime with a score of 61-50. The Five managed to catch up and pass the Express ending the third quarter with a five-point lead of 84-79. With less than five minutes to go in the last quarter, the Express were up by one point, but the Five were able to take back the lead and end the game with a seven-point lead with a score of 111-104.

Shaquille Keith led the Express with 27 points and seven rebounds. Chris Jones put up 22 points and eight rebounds. Kemy Osse added 20 points and four rebounds.

The Express will face the Sudbury on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
