UPDATE: Crash on County Road 22 and Lesperance cleared

The westbound lanes of County Road 22 in Tecumseh have reopened following a multi-vehicle collision.

Tecumseh Fire and Rescue tweeted that the westbound lanes of 22 at Lesperance Road were backed up following a crash that occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. Friday.

It was not immediately known how many vehicles were involved or if there were any injuries. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.

Tecumseh Fire tweeted shortly after 6:30 p.m. that the vehicles were cleared and the lanes were reopened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
