Express comeback falls short

The Windsor Express dropped their second consecutive game to the Sudbury Five Saturday with a 117-104 loss.

Windsor trailed by 21 points at halftime before pulling to within just two points of the Five in the fourth quarter. However, Sudbury was able to pull away late in the game to end the Express comeback effort.

Windsor guard Chris Jones led all scorers with 29 points on 11 of 24 shooting.

The Express are back in action Sunday when they host London at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
