Vehicle flip causes backups on eastbound EC Row

A section of the eastbound E.C. Row Expressway is backed up due to a crash.

Windsor police said it happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the eastbound lanes near the off-ramp to northbound Lauzon Parkway. It was not clear exactly how many vehicles were involved, but callers to the newsroom reported that one vehicle was turned on its side. At least one person has been treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Windsor Fire and Rescue and Essex-Windsor EMS assisted Windsor police on the scene.

Witnesses tell BlackburnNewsWindsor.com that eastbound traffic is backed up to about Central Avenue. Drivers are being rerouted around the area and are being asked to find an alternate route.
