Fire tears through Tecumseh Road business

Windsor firefighters kept busy Sunday morning battling a structure fire.

The blaze broke out shortly after 6 a.m. at a commercial building on Tecumseh Road East between Lincoln Road and Windermere Road.

It took about seven hours to put the fire out. An investigator will attend the scene Sunday. No cause or damage estimate has been provided.

According to Windsor Fire, there were no injuries.

Tecumseh Road East between Gladstone Avenue and Windermere Road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
