Police investigate shooting on Askin Avenue

Windsor police are investigating a shooting that took place early Saturday morning.

It happened around 1 a.m. on Askin Avenue near Pelletier Street. According to police, the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time however, police say there is no threat to public safety.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
