OPP charge Leamington man after $100K drug bust

A Leamington man will have his day in court after the Ontario Provincial Police seized cocaine, methamphetamine, electronics, clothing, and a motor vehicle.

The OPP's Community Street Crime Unit searched a home on Robson Road near the Leamington Municipal Marina last Wednesday.

They also found $20,000 in Canadian and U.S. currency.

The entire haul was worth more than $100,000, according to police.

Now, 29-year-old Jesse Lee Butt faces drug-related and possession of property obtained by crime charges.

The offences have not been proven in court.

Butt will appear in a Leamington court April 2.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
