Second arrest made in west-end shooting

Windsor police have arrested a second suspect almost a year after gunfire was reported outside a west-end business.

On March 1, 2019, police were called to the area of Wyandotte Street West and Elm Avenue for a single shot fired. Police believed there was a disturbance in a nearby business and two people took out a gun. They both left the business and a gunshot was heard before a car took off. No injuries were reported.

Xavien Williams, 23, of Scarborough, was arrested in May 2019 and charged in relation to the incident.

Aisa Husaini, 28, of Toronto was arrested Wednesday and charged with pointing a firearm, possessing a weapon dangerous to public peace, and unlawfully possessing a firearm.
