Four youths injured in LaSalle crash

Police are investigating after a single-vehicle crash in LaSalle sent four youths to hospital.

The LaSalle Police Service said at around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, the vehicle was travelling on Malden Road near Golf View Drive when it left the road and entered a ditch before coming to a rest in the adjacent field.

The four youths who were in the vehicle were all taken to hospital with various injuries, however, none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, police said.

Police closed the road for several hours for an investigation but it was reopened to traffic at around 4 p.m.

No charges have been laid at this time but police said an investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
