A fire that sparked in the basement of a house on Langlois Avenue has displaced three people and caused $40,000 worth of damages.
Windsor Fire & Rescue Services reported a blaze at the 1400 block of Langlois, around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Officials said the fire in the basement was under control and firefighters were able to extinguish it soon after. However, it did leave behind a lot of damage.
The cause of the fire has been deemed as accidental as a dryer appears to be what sparked the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
