Man seriously injured after being stabbed

Windsor police are looking for suspects after a man was rushed to hospital with a stab wound.

Police were called to an area near Howard and Tecumseh Sunday night at around 10:30 p.m., and found the man who had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the man was uncooperative with officers when asked how the injury happened.

Police canvassed the area around Howard Avenue and Hyde Street. They received information that the stabbing may have occurred near Tecumseh Road and Windsor Avenue at the rear of a business. The area was contained as a crime scene.

Police continue to look for witnesses and video surveillance footage from the area. The investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
