Victim identified in fatal Lakeshore crash

Ontario Provincial Police have identified a Windsor man killed in a crash in Lakeshore last week.

The collision took place around 10:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Highway 77 and Lakeshore Road 310. The investigation resulted in the area being closed to traffic for several hours.

Kamia Barry, 40, of Windsor died in the crash. A 34-year-old Chatham woman was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation of this incident is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
