Police search witnesses after minivan collides with cyclist

Windsor police are looking for witnesses after a cyclist was hit on Walker Road at Richmond Street on Saturday.

A black Dodge Caravan and the cyclist collided around 5:15 p.m.  The driver of the Caravan remained on scene after the collision.

The man on the bicycle suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation closed the intersection for several hours on Saturday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
