Kayaker pulled from Lake St. Clair

A kayaker is recovering from hypothermia after falling into Lake St. Clair.

Lakeshore OPP was called the area around 8 a.m. on Monday

According to police, the kayaker fell into the water and called for help. Some nearby boaters rescued him and he was taken to the hospital by EMS and treated from hypothermia.

The OPP is reminding all boaters to wear personal flotation devices and take necessary safety precautions while out on the water.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
