Point Pelee National Park partially reopening

Point Pelee National Park is opening its gates to visitors on the weekend starting on June 13, 2020.

Limited visitor access will be granted on the trails, cycling facilities pathways, some public washrooms and some picnic areas.

The park will limit the number of vehicles entering the park to help maintain physical distance. Parking will only be available in select lots throughout the park.

All camping facilities remain closed until at least June 21, 2020, while Parks Canada assesses whether and how these services might resume. Group activities and public events will not be allowed until further notice.

The park will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to sunset.
