No injuries following garage fire in south Windsor

Windsor Fire and Rescue Service responded to a garage fire that broke out early Saturday morning.

Crews were called to a home in the 3600 block of McKay just before 7:30 a.m. The fire occurred near a workbench inside the  garage according to Windsor Fire. Firefighters were able to put out the fire safely and no one was injured during the incident.

A cause has not yet been determined by investigators. The home and a vehicle sustained $120,000 in damage.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
