Police arrest suspect in robbery

A Windsor man is facing several charges after a robbery at home in downtown Windsor Tuesday.

Police said the victim reported that a man he knew came into his home on Wyandotte Street West near Church Street with what looked like a gun and threatened him. The man demanded the victim hand over several items. The man left when other people in the home intervened.

The robbery was reported to Windsor police on Wednesday after the victim reported being threatened over the phone.

Police located a suspect and he was arrested without incident.  Police found a black pellet gun through the investigation.

Mario Angelo, 20, is facing charges of robbery, threats to cause death, and possessing an imitation weapon for the purpose of committing a crime. The charges have not been proven in court.
