Two charged in stabbing investigation

Two Windsor youth are facing charges after a stabbing in downtown Windsor Friday night.

Windsor police responded to a call for a fight in the area of Bruce Avenue and Giles Boulevard West around 10 pm. Officers found a youth suffering from a non-threatening stab wound.

The victim reported that they were in a fight with multiple people.

Officers identified multiple suspects and vehicles associated with the incident.

One male youth was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated assault. Officers located the second suspect on Saturday. He was also arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Due to the fact both accused males in this matter are young offenders, they cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
