Police investigate sexual assault

Windsor police are looking for a suspect after a sexual assault in a vehicle parked at Riverside Drive East and Lauzon Road.

Police said it happened around 2 a.m. Saturday, June 27.

According to police, a woman and a man were inside the vehicle when the man started touching her against her will. There was a struggle, but the woman managed to escape and call the police.

Police said the suspect is about 22 years old, 5'10", with an olive complexion. He had long black hair he was wearing in a bun, with the sides of his head shaved. He was also wearing a black hooded sweater. The victim believes he also spoke Arabic.

He may be driving a dark purple or grey minivan with damage to the windshield and rearview mirror.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
