UPDATE: Police investigate rollover crash in Sandwich South

Windsor police have reopened a portion of Baseline Road near Concession Road 9 following a rollover crash on Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to the scene around 12:30 p.m. When police arrived, they discovered two damaged vehicles that were no longer on the road. During the incident, one vehicle had rolled over before coming to a rest on its roof.

A staff sergeant confirmed to Blackburn News that the area would be closed throughout Sunday evening while they investigated.

No other details, including injuries, have been made available.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
