UPDATE: OPP locate missing woman

Police have located a 34-year-old woman who had been missing for over a week.

Danielle Pitts went missing on August 3 from an alternative care facility in Leamington and concern was expressed by police regarding her well-being.

However, the Ontario Provincial Police said on Wednesday that Pitts has since been located and is safe.

The OPP also thanked the public for its help locating Pitts.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
