LaSalle slowly reopens in Stage 3

Starting Thursday, fencing and tape around LaSalle playgrounds will begin to come down.

The kids will be allowed to play on the swings again. Those will be put back up.

The municipality is slow reopening its public facilities.

The Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex is still closed to the public. Town officials are working with the LaSalle Vipers and the LaSalle Minor Hockey Association on their plans to return.

Only one ice pad is open now for rental, but the second is expected to open in October.

There are no plans to reopen the fitness centre at the Vollmer Complex, although gyms are allowed to open in Stage 3.

The aquatic centre is still under construction, so it will also stay closed.

The LaSalle Civic Centre is open for town business.
