WECDSB makes changes to secondary schedule

The Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board has made additional changes to its secondary school schedule to reduce the number of contacts between students and staff.

Students will now only be attending school for one 225 minute period. Staggered breaks will be provided throughout the period.

Students will still be divided into two cohorts and have two classes per "quadmester." There will be an alternating schedule with period one in the first week and period two in the second week rather than two periods in one day. The online learning schedule has also been adjusted to one 75-minute period.

Start dates may change for students depending on which cohort they have been assigned to. Orientation dates have been added for each cohort. A full outline of the board's back to school plan can be found here.
