Man taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Windsor's east end.

The Windsor Police Service said on Friday at around 5:30 p.m., police responded to the collision in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Forest Glade Drive.

The male pedestrian suffered significant injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
