OPP identifies driver killed in crash

The Ontario Provincial Police has identified the woman who died in a collision on Manning Road Friday.

Marie Levesque, 84, of Essex died when the car she was driving collided with another vehicle on Manning Road just north of Highway 401.

The driver of other vehicle was treated for minor injuries.

Manning Road was closed for several hours Friday afternoon for the completion of the investigation.

OPP say no charges are anticipated as a result of the crash.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
