Screening changes at Erie Shores Healthcare

Starting today, visitors to Erie Shores Healthcare in Leamington will notice a change.

The hospital's screening process is moving out of its trailer outside the building to inside the main entrance.

A release from Erie Shores Healthcare said the adjustment is in anticipation of colder weather on the way.

Except for those coming to the hospital for diagnostic imaging or a COVID-19 test, all patients and visitors will enter through the main entrance. They will exit the same way.

The screening process will remain the same.

For those visiting the COVID-19 assessment centre, there is still a separate entrance. Blue signs will direct those visitors to the centre on the south end of the building.

Those coming to receive diagnostic testing will be asked to follow the pink signs.
