Man arrested in drug investigation

A Windsor man has been arrested and charged after an investigation by the Windsor Police Service Drugs and Guns Unit.

Police arrested a man in the area of Ouellette Avenue and Erie Street on Thursday. He was in possession of 78.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine, .3 grams of fentanyl and brass knuckle switchblade knife.

Dwayne Allen, 28 from Whitby Ontario is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon. The charges have not been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
