Police search for clues in east end shooting

Windsor police are investigating a shooting in the city's east side.

Police were called to the area of Lauzon Road and Hawthorne Drive around 3:30 Friday morning. Officers found an adult man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Forensic Identification Unit processed the scene and the area was canvassed for witnesses.

The Major Crimes Branch is seeking any information about the shooting. They are also requesting that residents in the area review video surveillance footage they may have for possible evidence.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
