Person arrested after Pelletier Street fire

One person has been arrested after allegedly intentionally setting a fire in Windsor's west end.

Crews responded to the house fire on Pelletier Street near McKay Avenue around 2 p.m. Saturday.

On Sunday, Windsor Fire and Rescue revealed that the fire had been intentionally set and one person had been arrested by police.

According to Windsor Fire and Rescue, damage is pegged around $10,000. No injuries are being reported.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
