Convenience store robbed at gunpoint

Windsor police are looking for a suspect after a convenience store was robbed at gunpoint Sunday.

Police were called to the store on Seminole Street near Pillette Road around 4:20 a.m. The clerk reported a man came into the store brandishing a firearm and demanding money. He was given some cash and some other items were stolen before the man took off westbound on Seminole Street on a bike.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white man around 30 years old. He was wearing a dark sweater, dark pants, and a bandana over his face. He was carrying a black pistol, a black and red duffle bag, and a backpack that was black, white, and blue.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
