WECHU reports 10 new cases of COVID-19

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit confirmed 10 new cases of COVID-19 in the region on Tuesday.

Details on where the 10 cases originated have not been reported.

There are 77 active cases of COVID-19 in the community.

There is currently one outbreak at an agricultural facility in Kingsville. There are no outbreaks to report at any long-term care facility, retirement home, or school.

In Ontario, 746 new cases were identified Tuesday, with 311 new cases in Toronto, 135 in Peel, and 116 in Ottawa. Over the last two days, 67,700 tests were completed.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
