Three charged in Leamington drug bust

Three people are facing charges after a home in Leamington was searched as part of an investigation by provincial police.

The OPP Essex County Community Street Crimes Unit searched a home on Mill Street around 4 p.m. Thursday. Police seized fentanyl and cash from the home.

Three people were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. The charges have not been proven in court.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and they encourage anyone with information to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
