Assessment Centre hours being adjusted

With a decrease in the number of people seeking COVID-19 tests, Windsor Regional Hospital is reducing hours at the St. Clair College Sportsplex Assessment Centre.

Before the government announced all assessment centres would be moving to an appointment-only model Windsor Regional Hospital tested about 447 people a day. Since the change, about 274 people a day are tested at Windsor Regional Hospital assessment centres.

Appointments will be available at the Sportsplex from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday. This location will be closed on the weekend.

The hours at the Ouellette Campus COVID-19 Assessment Centre are not being changed at this time. Appointments at this location are available from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends.

Hours will continue to be adjusted if the demand for appointments increases.

Provincial guidelines indicate that only those showing symptoms of COVID-19 or who have been exposed to a confirmed case of the virus should be tested for COVID-19. Appointments can be booked online here.
